The Chase: Paul Sinha admits contestants deserved to win
Paul Sinha issued a brief statement after he was defeated by a team on The Chase.
Bradley Walsh welcomed four new contestants who were keen to walk away from the programme with some cash.
First up to face Paul Sinha was Neil. The pensions consultant, 50, got himself off to a great start by answering eight questions correctly in the cash builder.
Despite The Sinnerman offering him a low offer of £3,000, Neil stuck to his original offer and eventually made it into the final chase.
Following Neil was Tim, a fish farmer from Derbyshire. Despite abruptly giving an answer before Bradley had finished asking the question, the 60-year-old arrived at the table with £4,000.

Like his co-star, Neil chose the middle offer and became the second contestant through to the final chase.
The third player to take on The Sinnerman was 23-year-old Sally. The assistant accountant answered four questions correctly and followed in her teammate's footsteps, taking the middle offer into the head-to-head.
Despite Paul ending up just one step behind her, Sally kept her composure and joined Neil and Tim in the final chase.
The final contestant was Helen, who also answered four questions correctly in the cash builder. Refusing to take the minus offer, Helen also stuck with her original earnings.
The 35-year-old had no problem making it through to the final chase, making it a full house against The Sinnerman.

During the final chase, the team answered 17 questions correctly. Despite Bradley believing the team were a couple of answers short, it was down to Paul to catch the team.
However, the chaser appeared to struggle throughout the final chase, answering a number of questions incorrectly. With the team executing several pushbacks, The Sinnerman still had five questions to answer before he ran out of time.
This meant the team walked away with £5,000 each. Bradley turned to Paul after his defeat and the professional quizzer admitted it was far from his best game.
"Not my best performance but you played really well. You deserved everything so congratulations," he said.
