ITV I'm A Celeb's Richard Coles addresses new project with GK Barry

Viewers of ITV's latest series of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! witnessed McFly's Danny Jones seize the title of King of the Jungle, with Coleen Rooney as the admirable runner-up and Reverend Richard Coles securing third place.

Despite not clinching the top spot, Richard formed an unexpected bond with Loose Women's Grace 'GK' Barry, providing plenty of laughs for the audience and sparking calls for the duo to team up for their own show post-jungle.

During his appearance on Lorraine's Wednesday show, Richard hinted that something might be on the horizon for him and GK. Lorraine observed: "You were very much at the heart of that show and everybody came to you, just to talk to you because you're so easy to talk to."

She then probed about the potential collaboration: "But you two, everybody was speculating, can you do something together?" Richard didn't hold back, confirming that plans are indeed afoot.

He announced: "We are going to do something together, We're actually having a meeting. Later today, and we're going to see. I'm taking her to the opera!"

The pair's venture will see them delving into each other's worlds, with Richard adding: "We're going to explore our worlds, so I'm taking her to the opera and she's taking me to, shall we say, a spa day with some intimate grooming."

The air was thick with suspense as Lorraine expressed her unease, telling Richard he was in for quite the surprise. To which Richard responded: "She told me what it is and I thought it was a vuvuzela which you get in the World Cup, but it's a vajazzle."

With a knowing look, Lorraine warned Richard that whatever GK has planned for him, it promises to be an adventure into the unknown. She remarked: "It'll be an interesting one!"

As last year drew to a close, audiences delighted in seeing GK and Richard back together on screen during his appearance on Loose Women where he reflected on his stint on the show, reports the Daily Record.

Despite a project with Richard and GK in the works, fans of the duo are keen for them to join Celebrity Gogglebox instead.

Taking to social media, one person said: "Your friendship with Richard was so sweet. You two definitely need to be on Celebrity Gogglebox. Please put him on your podcast."

Another eager fan pleaded: "You and the Rev need to go on Gogglebox" Echoing this sentiment, aother viewer insisted: "Grace gave us some of the best conversations with Richard, I need a celeb gogglebox episode with them two as soon as I'm going to miss them."
