GB News' Ellie Costello witheringly dismissed Meghan Markle's new Netflix venture, which she suggested would portray her as a "Hollywood housewife", baking cakes and discussing recipes.
While Stephen Dixon joked that the plotline will see the former working royal announce: "I'm going to cut a piece of cabbage now!", his co-star Ellie Costello chimed in: "I wouldn't [watch it]!
"I don't know what you gain from it really, watching Meghan make a sandwich!" The eight episodes are each expected to be about one hour long, leaving Stephen sarcastically swiping: "So much love to go round, what will we do?"
The pair proved equally scathing about Meghan's return to Instagram yesterday for the first time in five years. Her debut post, featuring her on a Montecito, California beach writing '2025' in the sand before running off giggling, was unveiled to much fanfare.
Prince Harry previously revealed in autobiography Spare that Meghan, formerly an actress, had been asked to give up her social media accounts against her will prior to joining the royal family. She might be relieved to be back, but not everyone is welcoming her return to public life.

When Harry and Meghan's joint account, @sussexroyal, published its last post before the pair left for the USA, they vowed: "You may not see us here, but the work continues", suggesting that their philanthropic work would be long-term.
However, the Netflix trailer for With Love, Meghan, suggests that neither charity ventures nor spats with the royals will be the focus of her latest project.
