The Masked Singer UK fans are convinced they've cracked the identity of Teeth after a single show. The ITV spectacle made its comeback on Saturday (January 4), with 12 celebrities donned in extravagant costumes set to dazzle viewers.
The judging panel saw Mo Gilligan and Jonathan Ross joined by Maya Jama and Sir Mo Farah as a special guest, launching the sixth season with pizzazz.
Host Joel Dommett gave Maya Jama the choice of the first performer, and she went for Teeth.
With each cryptic clue revealed, including "I've always been a big mouth" and "I've bitten off more than I can chew," speculation amongst the sleuths in the studio and the audience intensified over who could be behind Teeth's mask.
Teeth hit the stage with a performance of Tony Christie's (Is This The Way To) Amarillo and tantalised with the teaser: "I've been schooled in variety, I have lots in the mix, the way I perform knocks the audience for six," reports the Mirror.
Post-performance, Maya Jama threw Rob Beckett's name into the guessing game while Jonathan Ross speculated it might be Rylan Clark or Alan Carr.
Davina McCall thought of Alex Scott, and Mo Gilligan had his bets on Jimmy Bullard.
As Davina McCall insisted that Teeth "is a woman", fans quickly took to social media to share their own theories about the identity of Teeth.
On X, previously known as Twitter, one viewer wrote: "Alan Carr's dad was manager of Northampton Town Football Club - seaside clue.
"He had braces as a kid and he hit them on a caravan park in Great Yarmouth. - he did Coach Trip, hence the coach and Alan got mistaken for a woman when he worked in a call centre."
Another chimed in: "Teeth is so Alan Carr! " A third person declared: "I have rumbled #Teeth It's Alan Carr! @chattyman."
While a fourth agreed: "I'm guessing Alan Carr teeth and there's loads of clues for it to be him."
