Avicii – I'm Tim Official Trailer on Netflix
Netflix has topped the list of streaming platforms for the highest number of show cancellations in 2024. The platform confirmed the termination of 16 shows last year, while six others were granted a final season before their ultimate conclusion.
Out of the total 22 series, nine were axed after just one season, including Bad Dinasours, The Brothers Sun, Buying London, Dead Boy Detectives, Everything Now, Kaos, Obilterated, Ratched and Scott Pilgrim Takes Off.
Other shows that won't be returning include Arcane, Barbarians, Break Point, Buying Beverly Hills, Girls5Ever, My dad The Bounty Hunter and That 90s Show.
Viewers will be disappointed to learn that several popular shows have not been renewed despite their success. Avatar is set to conclude with its third and final season, Blood of Zeus has one more series left, and Outer Banks' fifth instalment will be its last.
Moreover, the immensely popular Stranger Things is scheduled to air its fifth and final season this year, bringing the Hawkins kids' saga to an end, reports the Mirror.
