Amazon Prime teaser trailer for Secret Level series
As the new anthology series on Amazon Prime, Secret Level, drops in full, fans have been quick to cherry-pick the best episodes to watch straight away and those that can be given a miss.
Secret Level brings to life over a dozen video game franchises across 15 episodes. The series was released in two parts but is now fully available for streaming on the platform.
It's the brainchild of the same creative team behind Netflix's Love Death + Robots, although their latest venture has received mixed reviews.
A number of fans have already voiced their opinions online, highlighting their favourite episodes and suggesting which ones viewers might want to skip.
The final episode, featuring a host of PlayStation characters including Helldivers, Kratos from God of War and Sackboy from Little Big Planet, is one many suggest giving a miss.

One fan suggested an alternative, saying: "It pains me to say this but the PlayStation episode of Secret Level might be the worst one of the entire series. Felt like a soulless Ready Player One style ad that totally fumbles the crossover potential. Just save your time and watch the 'Michael' ad from the PS3 era instead" The 'Michael' advertising campaign featured live-action versions of iconic characters such as Kratos and Solid Snake, all sharing stories praising 'Michael', their hero who is then seen holding a PlayStation controller, reports the Daily Record.
The show has produced some surprise hits among its episodes, including one featuring a comedic turn by Arnold Schwarzenegger, which a fan hailed as the best. They wrote on social media: "My favourite Secret Level episode was a shocker. It's the one on New World. I was sceptical because it's about the Amazon game in an Amazon showbut trust me: this was a beautiful, funny and heart warming classic fable."
Another episode that has garnered popularity is the sequel to the game Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 2, with one viewer stating: "I highly recommend giving the entire 19 min episode a watch. It's immersive and awesome. It's a happy grim dark ray of much needed sunshine in today's world."
The show's take on the classic game series Mega Man, which debuted in 1987, also won praise. One fan commented: "The Mega Man episode of Amazon Prime's Secret Level is almost enough to redeem the entire, largely mediocre anthology project. So good, so fun, so well acted. Only thing stopping me from rating it *Perfect* is that it's not longer."
While some fans are advising others to give the Concord episode a miss, deeming it 'just an advert for a now non-existent game', another episode has caught audience attention as a must-watch.
An enthused viewer exclaimed: "I thought the PAC-Man episode of Secret Level was awesome. What a cool reimagining of a character we all know like this. Why is the PAC-Man orb trying to escape? Who put it there? Who made it, for what purpose? Where was it put? Lots of cool questions here. And there's a game of this coming out too called Shadow Labyrinth. Sign me up."
On Reddit, folks are debating over which episodes to potentially skip based on personal gaming experience. They recommend if viewers haven't played games like Sifu or Spelunky, those episodes could pique their interest in the concepts.
The X account has triumphantly announced that Secret Level has scored the biggest debut for an animated series on Amazon, with a second season now confirmed.
