This Morning: Dermot and Josie apologise for tech issues
Josie Gibson and Dermot O'Leary had a delightful chat with Geoff, coined the Festive Man from Seaford, East Sussex, as they marvelled at his Christmas enthusiasm.
The tension was palpable amongst This Morning viewers as Geoff, a lover of Christmas decorations, began to reveal how long he takes to perfect his festive display. But, as fate would have it, tech gremlins struck, plunging the conversation into a cliffhanger, much to fans' dismay.
At the critical moment, the video link failed, prompting Josie and Dermot to react with shock, lamenting: "Oh no, now we'll never know." The anticipation was briefly rekindled as the Bristolian presenter excitedly shouted: "Look he's back," only for disappointment to strike twice as the connection faltered again.
The Bristolian host admitted to viewers: "See that's the joys of live telly you never know what's going to happen. You never know when the signal is going to go. We've sadly lost Dan there."
On-air banter continued as Dermot reminisced about festive lights, musing: "It used to be plug it in but now you don't plug it in anymore and it's just not as good," reports the Mirror.

To which Josie agreed with a spirited "I know," while Geoff's house dazzled in an onscreen clip. Dermot quipped: "That's Geoff's house but sadly we have no idea whether that's worth anything because we are not experts."
Dermot issued a gracious "sorry" to viewers over the hiccup in their live segment. However, the show concluded on a high note with fans elated over Josie's much-anticipated return to This Morning, gracing ITV screens for the first time since September.
On the social media platform X - formerly known as Twitter - euphoria erupted as devotees realised a beloved host had triumphantly returned.A viewer celebrated with: "Josies back #thismorning."
A curious fan questioned: "Josie - where the hell have you been? " Meanwhile, another chimed in enthusiastically: "Woooooooo Josie is back #ThisMorning." One more jubilantly welcomed her with: "It's Josie! #ThisMorning." And an impatient supporter exclaimed: "Josie's back, about b***y time, #thismorning."
