GB News: Bev Turner steps in for Patrick Christys
GB News presenter Patrick Christys has given fans a glimpse into his honeymoon after stepping away from the studio.
On Tuesday, November 26, Christys, 32, posted a sunny photo from his recent trip abroad, following his wedding to co-star Emily Carver, also 32.
He shared the moment on X, writing: “We’re missing you @GBNEWS but thank you to everyone who’s stepped in to cover our shows! We’re having the best honeymoon but it’s back to reality on Monday! @CarverEmily and I will see you all then.”
Fans were quick to congratulate the pair on their happy news. One person wrote: “A well-earned Honeymoon! You look so happy and beautiful together.”
Another social media user wrote: “Excellent. Great photo. Hope you're having a super time.” A third said: Looking forward to your return Patrick. Congratulations also.”

Just over a week ago, the star took to social media to share an update with his followers, posting a smiling photo of himself and Emily as they enjoy their long-awaited honeymoon.
Along with the photo, Patrick wrote: "Well that’s a wrap for a couple of weeks. This honeymoon is long overdue! Thank you to everyone who has watched/listened to our @GBNEWS shows - we’ve been on a roll recently! Take care everyone and see you at the start of December to pick up where we left off."
Christys began his career in 2014 as a reporter for The Westmorland Gazette in Kendal, Cumbria. In August 2021, he joined GB News, where he initially co-presented To the Point alongside Mercy Muroki. He now fronts his own show, Patrick Christys Tonight weekdays from 9-11pm.
Beyond his broadcasting work, the news presenter has been a passionate advocate for men's mental health, helping to raise over £110,000 for the charity Mind. He has also made notable appearances as a political commentator on BBC's Politics Live and Sky News.
Meanwhile, Emily is a presenter, commentator, and columnist based in London. She regularly presents across GB News, as well as hosting the channel's Good Afternoon Britain.
Carver has also appeared as a guest on BBC Politics Live, BBC Question Time, The Jeremy Vine Show, LBC Cross Question, ITV's Good Morning Britain, Times Radio, Sky News, and talkTV.
