I'm A Celeb: Ant and Dec reveal Tulisa and Richard exempt from trial

I’m A Celebrity‘s Ant and Dec halted the show on Sunday night as they shared an announcement with fans.

The ITV show returned to screens on Sunday (November 24) with Ant and Dec back at the helm, to check in on the latest batch of famous faces in the Aussie jungle.

For this year’s series, celebs like Tulisa, Oti Mabuse, Jane Moore, Danny Jones, and Dean McCullough have signed up to rough it up for a few weeks. Coleen Rooney, GK Barry and Melvin Odoom have also joined them, in a bid to be crowned the King or Queen of the Jungle.

And during the latest instalment, Ant and Dec gave fans the info on the latest Bushtucker trial: Jack and The Scream-Stalk. The trial will see one of the campmates climp up high in the air, in an attempt to retrieve stars.

But fans won’t be able to vote for two famous faces to take part. During the show, Dec told viewers: “Reverend Richard and Tulisa are ruled out of this one on medical grounds.”

Fans soon shared their thoughts on X, as one person said: “First medical grounds of the series.” A second wrote: “Rev Richard and Tulisa ruled out of the heights trial on medical grounds oh no so it begins!”

A third chimed in: “The abysmal "Ruled out on Medical Grounds" is back.” Another penned: "First medical exception of the season."

Elsehwhere in the episode, Dean and Coleen had take on the trial ‘Absolute Carnage’. One of them had to be locked inside the back of a ute with all of the stars.

The stars were locked into place with different fastenings and they required different tools to undo each one of them. The other celebrity’s job was to search for the different tools around the garage and pass them over to the back of the ute once found.

Dean decided to take the role of searching for the tools, which meant Coleen was positioned in the back of the ute.

And the pair did well, bagging 9 stars for camp. Impressing Ant & Dec, they told Coleen: “you were very calm, very quiet, you just got on with it.”

Coleen replied: “Yeah that is my way of coping, silence, the silent treatment.” Whilst Dean admitted he felt like he’d conquered his fear of fish guts whilst being covered in them.

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! airs Monday to Sunday at 9pm on ITV1, STV and ITVX
