Strictly Come Dancing enthusiasts were left with the impression that one of the professional dancers had a bitter response to her co-star's performance.

During Saturday night's show (November 16), the remaining contestants headed to Blackpool for an extra glitzy episode of the BBC competition.

Miranda actress Sarah Hadland and Vito Coppola, along with Love Island star Tasha Ghouri and her dance partner Aljaž Škorjanec, topped the leaderboard on Saturday night, with both couples earning 39 points from the judges.

But whilst the Love Island star, 26, was waiting for her score, viewers were convinced they could detect some bitterness from professional dancer Jowita Przysta.

Fans were convinced that Jowita, who is partnered with former TOWIE star Pete Wicks, was clapping very unenthusiastically when she watched Tasha and Aljaz receive their near-perfect scores.

A Strictly enthusiast took to Reddit to comment on Jowita Przystal's tepid applause, posting: "What was Jowita's half a**ed clap about after Tasha's dance?"

Another fan agreed: "The face. She was pi***d," as a third viewer responded: "So glad I'm not the only one that clocked this lol."

Despite the backstage drama, it was opera singer Wynne Evans and his partner Katya Jones who faced their final curtain call on the show Sunday night after a dance-off against Gladiator's Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe.

The following day, during a heartfelt interview on It Takes Two, Wynne couldn't hold back the tears as he replayed his Strictly journey.

Joining him was Jamie Borthwick, who expressed his newfound friendship with Wynne, stating, "Who'd have thought this man and me would become best mates? It's not going to be the same, but I've got a friend for life. He's amazing this man."

In a touching remark, Katya pointed out what truly lasts beyond the competition, saying, "This is what Strictly is about, no one is going to remember the scores or the comments you got. It's the friendships they create on the show and genuine relationships. I'm so glad you had each other."

This emotional moment led to Wynne breaking down in tears, prompting host Fleur East to hastily search for tissues.

Following his departure on Sunday night, the Go Compare star remarked: "It's been wonderful, I've got to say. I feel like it's what Strictly is all about. If I can come and do Strictly and last until week nine, then anybody can get out there and dance and have a brilliant time."

Wynne added: "Strictly is such a brilliant family, such a precious family, that I want everybody here in this room and at home to look after it for the generations to come because it is a wonderful, wonderful thing."
