Morning Live: Rhys reminds Gethin Jones it's a 'daytime show'
BBC Morning Live host Gethin Jones received a scolding from his colleague Rhys Stephenson as they chatted about "stockings" in a light-hearted segment.
Gethin and Helen Skelton, returned on Tuesday (November 19), brimming with handy advice on finance and health. However, the conversation took an amusing turn when discussing Christmas gifts.
Helen playfully suggested Rhys should splurge on his wife for their first festive season together, quipping: "Can somebody tell Rhys as your first Christmas as a married man, 20 quid in a card- not appropriate."
Rhys, feeling the pressure of the holiday, admitted: "It's not just our first Christmas as a married couple, it's our first Christmas together," explaining they traditionally had spent it apart with their respective families and adding, "She wants stockings as well, the pressure is high this year."
As the talk turned to stockings, Gethin cheekily hinted at something more risque: "When you say stockings..", reports Wales Online.

Quick to clarify, Rhys humorously snapped back: "Christmas stockings Gethin! Sweets and stuff, it's a daytime show! ".
Undeterred, Gethin continued cheekily: "Because that would be a nice gift, that's all I'm saying," before they smoothly transitioned to another part of the programme.
Earlier on, Rhys, known for his role on Strictly Come Dancing, revealed that he had quietly married his partner, Beth, sharing an endearing video of their wedding via social media.
