Emmerdale: Ross gets threatened by Jade
Emmerdale fans brace for disappointment as another schedule reshuffle has been confirmed. The beloved soap is set to be taken off air next Thursday (November 14) to accommodate England's face-off with Greece in the UEFA National League.
This isn't the first instance of Emmerdale being bumped off the airwaves; just last month, both Emmerdale and Coronation Street gave way to Live Women's International Football when England played at Wembley Stadium.
Per the latest TV listings, Emmerdale is slated to make a comeback in its regular 7.30pm slot on Friday (November 15). This scheduling shift trails the buzz that Ruby Fox-Milligan's (Beth Cordingly) offspring Stephanie will make her entrance into the village later in November.
Steph, portrayed by Georgia Jay, is smart, self-assured, and utterly impulsive, having been estranged from her parents for over ten years.
She evidently inherits the best and worst traits of her folks, including their egotistical drive to triumph at any cost, reports Leeds Live.

Georgia Jay, on her part, expressed excitement about her role: "I am thrilled to be joining the cast of Emmerdale. The cast and crew have all been so welcoming and I'm very excited to see what lies ahead for Steph, given her intriguing backstory."
Stephanie's arrival will be accompanied by Ruby's father Anthony, played by Nicholas Day, who is set to stir up trouble in the village. Although Anthony appears to have mellowed with age and comes across as charming to outsiders, Ruby hasn't seen him in over three decades.
Nicholas expressed his delight at joining the show, saying: "I've been made so welcome in the Emmerdale family. And my screen family is great to work with, the scenes just fly. No kidding - I feel blessed."

Emmerdale producer Sophie Roper added: "We're delighted to be welcoming Nicholas and Georgia to Emmerdale as part of the Miligan family.
With so much yet to discover about Ruby, the arrival of her father and daughter will unlock her past and see Ruby and Caleb tested in ways we've never seen before. With two actors of such great calibre, they're certainly set to make their mark on the Dales."
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 at 7.30pm and available to stream from 7am on ITVX
