Daisy Midgeley might find herself in perilin coming weeks after forming a bond with Kit Green, who is suspected of killing Joel Deering.
The barmaid's life was turned on its head by heartache as Ryan Connor suspected her of harbouring feelings for her former beau Daniel Osbourne. However, when he confided in Kit during recent episodes of Coronation Street, the DJ was stunned to learn that Kit had exploited the information to win Daisy's favour.
In the episode broadcast on ITV on Monday (November 4), Daisy (played by Charlotte Jordan) stumbled upon a bottle belonging to Jenny Connor in Kit's possession. She later became incensed upon realising Kit had deceived her into falling for him, after Ryan revealed his deceitful tactics.
Determined to confront the issue, Daisy later accused Kit (Jacob Roberts) of displaying "red flag behaviour."
Yet, Kit managed to maintain his facade by sharing stories of family woes - this followed a scene where he was seen erasing a suspicious voicemail, potentially linked to the night Joel died, reports the Mirror.

Subsequent scenes showed Daisy and Kit strolling through the streets, with Kit gripping his bike. Despite his flattery, which included mentioning her preferred scent, Daisy warned him she wouldn't be swayed by sweet talk. Nevertheless, Kit charmed her into thinking he was "one of the good ones."
As the episode reached its climax, viewers were treated to another flashback of Kit driving directly to Joel (Calum Lill) on the night of September 27. Upon his arrival, the two men immediately locked horns.
As Kit set the scene by pinning Joel against his car, the duty solicitor reminded him that he was aware of the evidence Kit had planted against Nathan Curtis, his former client.

Although Kit has not been officially identified as Joel's killer, viewers have been suspicious of him since his first appearance in Weatherfield in May 2024, when he was introduced as Bernie Winter's long-lost son. Scenes broadcasted on Friday (November 1) seemed to confirm his involvement in Joel's death as he was spotted deleting key evidence that could tie him to the grim act.
Daisy is renowned for her forthright personality, making it hard for anyone to deceive her easily. While she may have picked up on Kit's manipulative tactics in romantic affairs, could she also uncover his role in Joel's death? Could Kit truly be the murderer? And if so, what will he do to Daisy when she discovers the truth?
Taking to social media, one fan penned: "Daisy's gonna regret getting to know this selfish nutter." Another added: "Daisy getting closer to Kit. She needs to be careful." A third agreed: "I hate Kit so much I dread to think what he will do to Daisy."
Coronation Street is on ITV at 8pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday and available to stream from 7am on ITVX
