Amanda Owen issued a public statement to her fans, just weeks after she returned to screens with her new series, Our Farm Next Door, featuring her ex-husband Clive and their children,
The Yorkshire Shepherdess, 50, and the rest of the Owen clan shot to fame on the Channel 5 series Our Yorkshire Farm in 2018. It followed the family as they ran Ravenseat farm in the Yorkshire Dales.
The series came to an end in 2022, the same year Amanda and Clive announced their split after 22 years of marriage.
However, the former couple decided to reunite for a new series, which documents the family as they set out to restore a derelict farmhouse, Anty Johns, back to its former glory.
Amanda and her family have been sharing regular updates on the show, however, the latest one turned out to be less positive as the presenter and writer issued a warning to her followers. The update, shared via Amanda's agent, Jo, was posted on her official Facebook page.

Her agent began: "Hi all, this is Jo, Amanda’s agent. Hope you’re all having a good weekend. It’s been brought to my attention these past few days that there are a number of FB pages springing up, which are passing themselves off as being in some way related to Amanda and/or the new series.
"This is just a quick note to confirm that this is the one and only official channel (verified with a blue tick) in relation to Amanda, along with the TV series, her books and any public speaking events we organise."
Jo continued: "If any FB pages make friends requests as if they were Amanda or anyone else in the family, please do not interact with them and please do not under any circumstances part with any of your hard earned money if requested to do so.
"We have had a problem in the past with pages pretending to offer live-streaming events and asking people to buy tickets that don’t actually exist."
She added: "Anything along those lines is bogus and the only place you will find legitimate posts is here. We will never ask you for money or make friends requests.

"This is purely a channel to let you all know when there’s some exciting news to share. Thanks for reading and please stay safe on the internet. Best wishes, Jo x."
It comes after Amanda faced backlash after the first episode of Our Farm Next Door hit screens. While some enjoyed seeing the family back on screens, others complained and brutally slammed the show as a "borefest".
Sharing their thoughts on X, one wrote: ''Been waiting for #OurFarmNextDoor but this is a pedestrian start. Don’t think Amanda works as a narrator … plus there’s the elephant in the room. Bit flat and mannered so far I fear."
Another agreed: "Omg it’s sooooo slow. She seems brow beaten and Clive seems more jolly. I wonder what’s gone on."
A third echoed: "#ourfarmnextdoor Well they're a separated couple now. So this BOREFEST was just to get the house built for her to move into so the kids could disperse between them both. It's more a house renovation than farm series. Still don't like her."
