Only Connect returned to screens on Monday evening, delighting some fans, while leaving others baffled just moments into the programme.
The popular BBC quiz show, hosted by Victoria Coren Mitchell, has teams trying to find connections between seemingly unrelated clues. Known for being one of the toughest quiz shows, it challenges players to think outside the box and solve tricky puzzles.
This week, two teams went head to head as the Harmonics faced off against the Bean Farmers, with the Harmonics emerging victorious.
However, fans all seemed to have the same reaction to Victoria's programme introduction.
Kicking off the show, she quipped: “Hello, some fantastic news just in. The intros might be saved after all.

“We've had a very generous offer from Crimley Bakery in Littlehampton to pay for them to be written just because they’re fans of the show.”
Taking to X, one viewer said: “I really don’t get this show or the bakery intro what the f***? #onlyconnect.” Another person added: I don't dislike anyone on today's episode. Maybe Victoria's intro #onlyconnect."
A third confused person said: “What is the intro/outro all about?? #onlyconnect.”
A fourth person chimed in: “Cluedo? Was it Victoria in the TV studio with the daft intro? #OnlyConnect.”
Victoria has been hosting Only Connect since its debut in 2008 and has been the face of the show for over 15 years.
However, last month she left fans confused following a "bizarre" outfit choice. The TV host, 52, wore a floral green dress and opted for a glittery red beret as the finishing touch on her hair.
Outside of the show, Victoria is a writer, journalist, and professional poker player, being the first woman to win a European Poker Tour event.
She is also married to comedian and actor David Mitchell, best known for his role in the hit sitcom Peep Show. The couple, who married in 2012, share a daughter together.
