Jules Hudson left his followers saying the same thing as he issued an update on Escape to the Country. The presenter, 54, announced that a new episode of the property hunting show would be dropping on Monday (October 14) at 3pm.

This particular episode led Jules to Wales, a place he revealed is now close to his heart. In a behind-the-scenes video, the property expert was in the back garden of one of the homes he visited, which happened to feature a holywell.

Looking into the well, which was likely built hundreds of thousands of years ago, Jules revealed this one in particular was believed to have had healing powers and cured children with rickets as well as other scrofula diseases.

The archaeologist continued: "It's said that the well keeper kept two fish in the bottom of it and if they came to the surface, it meant the cure was going to work."

Jules added: "But the joy at some of the sights like this, with such history attached to them, is whatever the truth of it, the folklore always makes for a great story."

He wrote in the caption: "News flash! A brand new episode of Escape to the Country today, 3pm on BBC1, and a happy reminder of the better weather and stunning landscapes we all enjoyed in North Wales earlier this year.

"Value for money was the order of the day, but as you see, you’re never far from the wonderful folklore that has always drawn Wales to my heart."

Jules continued: "Here’s a taste of what we found, particularly for our friends overseas. But if you’re here in the UK, you can enjoy our recent Welsh adventure at 3pm on BBC1, or later on the BBCiplayer.
