Bradley Walsh 'disappeared' as he tried to remove himself from view on this evening's brand new episode of the Chase. The ITV host shared a fear of his as he ducked down behind his podium to jokingly try and hide from one of the four players.
The 64-year-old comedian welcomed Raj from Wakefield, Alice from Brigend, Charlie from Chester and Jackie from Leicester as they put their general knowledge to the test against one of the iconic Chasers. They hoped to outrun the quizzer to be in with the chance to split a cash prize.
But as player one, Raj, introduced himself to the ITV show, Brad reacted in a very strange way. The contestant shared that he was a radiologist - someone who works with CT scans and X rays.
Brad asked: "You're a consultant radiologist?" as he slowly ducked down out of view of the player and the camera. He continued to quiz the player, before explaining the method behind his madness, saying: "Just don't want to get any radiation.
"None of that malarky for me, do you know what I mean? You can't be too careful."
The ITV host soon popped his head back up as he asked the medical professional what the "weirdest" thing he ever saw on an X-ray was.
Raj explained: "I specialise in children so we see coins, we see batteries... I've seen everything." Brad exclaimed in disbelief: "No you do not! Seriously?" Raj continued: "Seriously. And there's only one way out when it goes in!" The presenter replied: "I don't doubt that."
The player went on to share that he hoped to take his wife, Nadia, on a trip to the Lake District with any winnings.
