Toyah Willcox has reassured fans that she will return to Strictly Come Dancing for the grand finale in December, despite her recent elimination from the competition.
In a heartfelt blog post reflecting on her journey, the singer described her time on the show as "one of the happiest times" of her life.
Although Toyah is now out of the BBC competition, she confirmed she will be back for the final.
She wrote: "Even though I am now out of the show until the final in December, the show has helped me set new standards in my life."
Throughout her post, Toyah expressed immense gratitude for her experience on Strictly, highlighting how the physically demanding routines had been a healing journey for her.
Earlier this year, Toyah suffered from nerve damage in her legs, which she believes may have been caused by inactivity. However, she credits the rigorous training on Strictly for her recovery.

"Thankfully over the last two months everything has returned to normal, and I AM HUGELY GRATEFUL. The training regime has healed me! It appears physical exertion, over seven hours a day, has restored me to full mobility."
The singer revealed that she initially struggled with nerve damage after her Strictly audition, an experience that left doctors puzzled.
“In April, after my dance audition, I experienced sudden nerve damage in my lower legs, and no one could pin point the cause,” Toyah explained.
Despite the challenges, she powered through the competition and credited the demanding training for helping her regain her physical strength.
Beyond the physical benefits, Toyah also spoke about how her time on the show has helped her mentally. She referred to Strictly as a “massive healing experience,” which allowed her to develop a new mindset and approach to life.
“2024 has been quite a tough year and the team at Strictly have helped me get back on track,” she said.

Toyah, 66, also reflected on her mission to inspire other women, particularly those of her age, through her participation in the show. “The second aim was to give women of my age encouragement and visibility,” she wrote.
After her elimination, Toyah shared that several women reached out to her to express their gratitude and admiration for her work, with one woman saying her journey on Strictly had inspired her.
Toyah’s gratitude also extended to her professional dance partner, Neil Jones, and the rest of the cast. She gushed about the camaraderie among the professional dancers, calling them “an absolute dream to be with.”
She added, “The girls are all divine, kind and giving. The boys, again all of the above, are super aware of respect towards the celebs.”
