The explosive new 'coming-of-rage' series Sweetpea is set to hit our TV screens this week. Featuring Ella Purnell as protagonist Rhiannon Lewis, she is fed up with being invisible and feeling ignored in her daily life.
With a mental kill list she has built up over the years, personal tragedies trigger a violent chain of events as Rhiannon tries to keep a grip on reality and away from the attention of the police.
Based on C.J.Skuse's novel from 2017, the series includes cast drawn from British dramas including Doctor Who, Slow Horses, and Rings of Power.

When is Sweetpea released?
The first episode of Sweetpea will air at 9pm on Thursday, October 10 on Sky Showcase and Sky Atlantic. The six-part mini-series will air at the same time every Thursday.
There are six episodes in the new Sky mini-series, with each episode being approximately 45 minutes long without adverts.
The full series will be available to watch on Sky and NOW customers on Thursday, October 10.
How to watch Sweetpea on Sky and NOW
All episodes of Sweetpea are available on-demand with Sky Max, which is included with the Sky Stream free trial and also comes with Netflix absolutely free. Sky Stream is a new way of watching Sky that lets members stream live and on-demand content to the TV using Wi-Fi instead of a satellite dish or aerial.

Select Sky channels are also included with Virgin Media’s TV and broadband bundles, including the Bigger Combo bundle which comes with more than 190 channels and 362Mbps broadband for £39.99 a month. Shoppers can also snap up the provider’s Mega Volt bundle, which comes jam packed with more than 230 channels – including Sky Sports and Sky Cinema – Netflix, an unlimited 5G O2 sim and 1,130Mbps for £84.99 a month.
