I'm A Celebrity will return to TV screens next month - and bosses will be reinstating a much-loved aspect of the show to celebrate.

Until 2020, the famous spin-off show Extra Camp regularly aired on ITV2, but the format was abandoned, leaving fans devastated. Now it will be returning for the first time in four years in conjunction with the main show and several hosts will be bringing inside gossip from the Australian jungle.

The last time the spin-off hit TV screens, it was hosted by Vick Hope during the Daily Drop on ITV Hub. Other hosts included former Queen of the Jungle Scarlett Moffatt, plus Emily Atack and Adam Thomas.

However the name might not be familiar, as a huge overhaul planned for its comeback means the name will be changed. According to reports by The Sun, a spokeswoman for the ITV show has confirmed the details.

She revealed: "Since Extra Camp came off air four years ago the conversation and engagement around I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! continues to grow across all social media platforms. This new ITV2 companion show will bring together all those conversations in one place, to give viewers the ultimate IAC destination for all of their news, gossip and behind the scenes fun around TV’s biggest entertainment show."

However, to add suspense for viewers, the new name of the show has not yet been announced. Meanwhile, the presenters haven't been picked yet either, despite there being just weeks to go.

Instead, a spokeswoman has teased that there will be "lots of names in the mix to host".

Fans are also speculating which big name celebrities will be making their way to the Australian jungle, with former X Factor judge and N Dubz singer Tulisa being one of the surprise names in the reckoning.

The show would see her return to the public eye after a period of time away from the celebrity lifestyle.

Strictly Come Dancing star Oti Mabuse has also been teased as a potential housemate, along with pro boxer Tommy Fury, who could be about to spill the beans on his high profile split from Molly-Mae Hague.

Coronation Street star Alan Halsall, better known to viewers as Tyrone Dobbs, is another eagerly awaited prospective star.

I'm A Celebrity is the talk of the town this year, especially after it was revealed that the stars will be allowed access to the controversial weight loss drug Ozempic behind the scenes.
