Strictly: Jamie Borthwick told he could win the glitterball
WARNING: This article contains spoilers from Strictly Come Dancing.
Strictly fans are voicing their relief, calling it the "right result" as the bottom two dancers and the unfortunate couple sent home have been leaked ahead of tonigt's show.
The beloved BBC dancing extravaganza charges ahead with the celebs and their professional partners dazzling audiences weekly with fresh performances.
This week's Movie Week plunged participants into cinematic realms, featuring tributes to The Little Mermaid, George Of The Jungle, Barbie, and Lara Croft.
A series of impressive scores lit up the night, with numerous pairs securing 30 or above points including Mirandas Sarah Hadland, vocalist Shayne Ward, and humourist Chris McCausland, reports the Mirror.
However, it was ex-Love Island personality Tasha Ghouri who ruled the roost with an impeccable 34 points for her emotive Rumba to Billie Eilishs What Was I Made For?
Seasoned Strictly watchers will be well aware that although results air on BBC One the next night, the show itself is pre-filmed on Saturday.
And as expected, the results have been leaked online, which the Express won't disclose, indicating the bottom two and the couple that have left the show.
But revelations of the ousted couple before Sunday's result show have seemingly left viewers feeling it was the right decision.
One fan expressed their relief on X, previously known as Twitter, remarking: "So happy with that result, so glad they are gone."
A second stated: "I would like to thank the British public for getting it right for once."
Another fan chimed in with: "Correct result and correct bottom two, one gone, now to get the other out."
Someone else stated: "Absolutely the right result though they didn't stand a chance with that song choice did they."
Yet, some viewers held different opinions regarding who should have been eliminated, with one X user commenting: "Right bottom two. Wrong person went home imo."
Echoing this perspective, another added: "Personally I would have preferred the other contestant to have been sent home, but it was definitely the correct bottom two."
Last week, Olympic swimmer Tom Dean and his dance partner Nadiya Bychkova had their dreams dashed as the first couple of 2024 to exit. Now all eyes are on who will face the chop next in the high-stakes dance contest.
Strictly Come Dancing continues tonight, Sunday, October 6, at 7.15pm on BBC One.
