Ben Shephard says his wife can't 'wait' to be a grandma
This Morning presenter Ben Shephard opened up about his family life on the ITV show, revealing that his wife is eager for grandchildren.
The 49-year-old star was on the beloved morning show with his co-presenter Cat Deeley on Thursday. The duo discussed the role of grandparents during a call-in when Ben shared a personal glimpse into his family, mentioning his wife Annie's anticipation.
He commented: "I hate to say this but Annie can't wait to be a grandma already. The boys are 19 and 17 and she's like you know, they love it!"
Ben and his wife Annie are parents to two teenage sons, Sam, who recently turned 18, and Jack, who is 17. Previously in July, the 'Tipping Point' host spoke about how his eldest son had embarked on an extensive journey since the year began and mentioned he took some time off work to visit Sam during his travels.
Upon Sam's return from his adventures over the summer, Ben captured their heartwarming reunion at the airport and shared it with his fans online, reports the Mirror.

Accompanying the emotional video, Bens caption on his post expressed his joy: "What a weekend. In a bit of a daze but got a big old smile on my face. It started with our 'Biggun' Sam coming home from 7 months traveling. Can't tell you how lovely it is having him back - and @annieshepharddesign is v v content!"
In addition to this, the former Good Morning Britain presenter joyfully continued his weekend as he celebrated his godson's birthday. Ben elaborated: "Then is was my eldest god son's birthday. What a celebration with all his family and friends. Amazing dinner and then drinks + v bad dad dancing @100wardourst which was just brilliant. All while the sun shone too! #family #birthday."

Responding to the heartwarming celebration, presenter Kate Thornton dropped a comment under Ben's post, expressing her relief: "Does Annie feel like she can breathe again now he's home!? I so felt for her. Glad he made it back in one piece with hopefully many memories and adventures under his belt."
