Millie embraces the role of Michelle, and Chris embodies Keats, with a supporting cast featuring stars like Ke Huy Quann, Stanley Tucci, Woody Norman, Martin Klebba, and Giancarlo Esposito.

The project, based on Simon Stalenhag's illustrious novel, has been in the works since the Russo brothers secured the rights back in 2017.

Photos from the upcoming film have excited many users online, with many taking to social media to share their thoughts.

One shared: "Eleven with a bunch of MCU actors?! YES PLEASE!!!"

Another excited fan shared: "This movie will be 11 out of 10," followed by a fire flame emoji on another. Meanwhile on Reddit, One user wrote: "I cannot wait for this. I hope it does the artist justice, a role model my whole life."

Meanwhile, another fan commented: "The visuals appear captivating, and the storyline seems to blend action and emotion. I'm looking forward to seeing the Russo Brothers' interpretation of this tale!". Millie had previously discussed her character Michelle and potential parallels with Eleven from Stranger Things.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, she explained: "We're technically both the same age, so I feel like it was just: What are moments that I wouldn't show my weakness? What are moments that I would? And I just played with that."

The Electric State will premiere on Netflix in March 2025.
