Strictly Come Dancing fans spot 'feud' between stars as tension erupts on stage

Strictly Come Dancing judges Craig Revel-Horwood and Shirley Ballas could not stop arguing with each other during the live show.

From the beginning of the show, Shirley seemed to disagree with everything Craig was saying to each contestant. As their tension escalated throughout the programme, fans rushed to social media to comment on their "feud".

One fan said: "Can Shirley please shut up and let others talk you may not agree but Craig doesn’t talk over you."

Another added: "Can Shirley just stfu Craigs giving genuine advice and all she’s doing is yelling over him?? SHUT UP SHIRLEY?!"

A third chimed in: "Shirley and Craig beefing", and another agreed: "Shirley and Craig bickering cracks me up."

Craig also came under fire for his comments to former footballer Paul Merson, who was previously spoken out about his historic battle with substance abuse, which led him to no longer drinking.

Following his performance with Katya Jones to Pitbull's Fireball, Craig said: "I see the drinks at the bar gave you the confidence to do that," as Paul quickly interjected: "I don't drink."

Craig added: "It was like a comedy dance at a wedding, those shunts were terrible. You are glued to the floor while Karen dances around you" as the room was rocked by boos.

He concluded: "However, I've got to commend you on the lifts."

Viewers quickly rushed to social media, as one fan raged: "Well that was a massive faux pas on Craig's behalf. Clearly doesn't know Paul is an Alcoholic."

A third chipped in: "Bit of a faux pas to talk about drinks at the barbecue to Paul Merson, someone famously sober after years of excessive drinking."

A fourth wrote: "Did Craig really just say he thought the drinks at the bbq gave Paul Merson confidence. Tactless in the extreme."

A fifth agreed: "That’s a nasty comment from Craig! As Paul is a recovering addict I doubt he’d be having a drink at a BBQ!"
