A Place in the Sun: Laura Hamilton take couple to view property
Laura Hamilton has revealed how she deals with "tricky" buyers looking for a new property on A Place In The Sun.
The 42-year-old presenter has been been faced with finding guests their dream home for the Channel 4 show for the past 12 years with her first episode airing back in February 2012.
Opening up on the secret behind the show's success at the National Television Awards on Wednesday (September 11), Laura said: "It's feel good, sunshine, escapism, accessibility and it's inspirational."
The property expert is occasionally put in awkward situations while filming the show by guests unsure on whether or not they like the property they've been pitched but Laura says that things may not be as they seen.
She continued: "I never feel like we have tricky guests. I think I might be the way sometimes it's edited but I keep in touch with a lot of people we film with. Property is such a personal thing and it's got to be right for them. If it doesn't feel right, they can't buy it."

Fans will remember that Laura took part in ITV's flagship show Dancing on Ice back in 2011 and the blonde beauty says she's up for more reality television.
Laura said: "I am always up for a challenge and open to whatever comes my way." It comes after reports that Laura has snapped up her very own slice of paradise, securing a holiday home in sunny Mallorca.
The TV star has taken a leaf out of her own book by purchasing her first overseas renovation project. Laura said at the time: "It's a big renovation project in Mallorca, even though I've renovated a lot of houses over the last, since I was 19, it is a new thing for me renovating overseas so yeah it's a bit different."

"I'm sure it will come with some challenges but it's really nice, not only will I have when I'm helping other people to find their places in the sun, I will have actually first hand gone through the experience myself as well. I'll be living and breathing the whole thing!"
Laura also expressed her spontaneous nature when it comes to life, saying: "I'm a pretty spontaneous person, I feel like when you know it's right, you just know. I looked at it once and knew straight away that it was the right property."
