Jeff continued with brevity: "I'll cut it short. I thought she was going to cut my head off but she said 'peaches, peaches' and I was scared about that."
Delving into his current project, Jeff went on to talk about his castmates, remarking: "On set Ariana Grande plays the good witch and her character finds her heart, meanwhile Cynthia's character finds her powers and mostly I wasn't afraid I was actually moved by it."
Meanwhile, Janet lightheartedly shed light on her method for maintaining fellow actor Jeffs's concentration during filming for the satirical Kaos where she portrays Hera, Zeus partner.

The One Show star Vernon Kay issued a warning to viewers as Jeff Goldblum opened up about his childhood ‘fear’.
During Tuesday's episode of The One Show, Jeff Goldblum and Janet McTeer spoke with hosts Vernon Kay and Clara Amfo about their fresh Netflix series Kaos.
Clara Amfo, not one to miss a beat, seized the opportunity to quiz Jeff on his other high-profile part in the much-anticipated Wicked movie. He's set to star as The Wizard, an impressive castmate alongside stars such as Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Michelle Yeoh, and Jonathan Bailey.
Clara enquired: "So you're afraid of witches so how did that work out? " leading the esteemed actor to divulge a secret fear from his youth.
The luminary of Jurassic Park and Independence Day fame confessed: "My first dream when I was a kid. I remember a witch tied me to a tree," which triggered peals of laughter as he affirmed: "It's true.", reports Wales Online.
Clare enquired: "Is it right that you used to sing show tunes to Jeff while on set? " To which Janet confessed: "We had many and we did have a piano on our set and sometimes he would play and everyone would stop."
Jeff, however, expressed some doubt: "I don't know about that."
But Janet insisted: "Yes they did, yes they did. It's not like he would get distracted, he didn't."
Janet elaborated: "Jeff is incredibly hard working and we are both very old school, we know all our lines and are very prepared but he would sort of get it. There is always so much going on with a lot of people so we would just sing."
Jeff commented: "Sometime I would find her so prepared."
Then the duo broke into song, showcasing how they immerse themselves in their roles.
