Platform 7: Jasmine Jobson stars in trailer for ITV drama
ITV is set to launch its new psychological thriller, Platform 7. The chilling story, adapted from Louise Doughty's 2019 novel of the same name by screenwriter Paula Milne, will debut at 9pm on ITV1 tonight (August 26) and continue for the next three consecutive nights.
For those who prefer to binge-watch, the entire series is available now on streaming platform ITVX. The plot centres around a young woman named Lisa, portrayed by Top Boy actress Jasmine Jobson, who finds herself trapped in the train station where she mysteriously died, with no recollection of her past life.
A horrific event at Peterborough station's seventh platform triggers a flood of memories.
"She's very strong-minded and strong-willed and she witnesses a devastating incident that jogs her fractured memory," Jasmine hinted in an interview with iNews."Along her journey she finds similarities to something that she's experienced herself, which in turn gives her a lot of power, which is very exciting."
Who is in the cast of Platform 7?
The cast of Platform 7 is led by Jasmine but also includes Coronation Street's Sacha Parkinson, Casualty's Patrick Robinson, A Discovery of Witches' Toby Regbo, The Essex Serpent's Yaamin Chowdhury, Hollyoaks' Rhiannon Clements, and House of the Dragon star Emily Carey.
Phil Davis, Reece Ritchie, Patrick Robinson, Natasha Joseph, Cleo Sylvestre, Mark Noble, and Margaret Clunie round out the ensemble, reports the Mirror.

"I used to have a standing joke that if I had been bad and died and went to purgatory, I would find myself trapped on Peterborough railway station on a freezing November night," writer Louise confessed.
"That's where the idea came from: a railway station as a metaphor for purgatory, and a young woman who has died there in mysterious circumstances and is trapped there until the mystery of her death is solved."
