Jeremy Clarkson may have inadvertently revealed that Clarkson's Farm could be returning for a fifth season, despite earlier concerns about the show's future.

The TV personality, 64, had previously left fans worried when he mentioned that there were no plans in place beyond season four.

Show boss Andy Wilman backed this up, stating to Deadline: “I’ve got no feelings on whether there’s a five or not. Jeremy’s the same. He’s like, 'When we’ve got nothing left to say, let’s walk away.'”

However, Clarkson recently dropped a hint that season five might be in the works. Posting a picture of Wilman holding dog treats, Clarkson jokingly wrote: “The dogs pleading with Andy Wilman to be in season 5.”

This playful comment sparked excitement among fans, with one follower enthusiastically commenting: "Season 5. Amazing !!!!!!! Bring on season 4!!!!"

Another added: "Fantastic news," while a third humorously remarked: "They are trying to convince him there needs to be season 6, 7 and 8 and I think you get the idea."

The Amazon Prime series Clarkson's Farm documents Jeremy’s efforts to transform his Oxfordshire farm into a profitable business.

Season four is currently in production, with new episodes expected to drop in summer 2025.

Reflecting on the success of the show, Wilman shared: "I don’t think we saw the real magic until the sheep arrived [in series one].

"And obviously Kaleb [Cooper] b*****king Jeremy. Those are the moments where you go: alright, we’ve really got something here.”

Wilman also pointed to the show’s unique appeal: "Everybody wants to be in that little world because it’s a bit of a 1950s world where a big problem is a cow that’s in trouble, or a dam that’s not mended. Very little of consequence happens. It’s like an escape pod. Forget all your troubles and be on Clarkson’s Farm."

Nearly 300 customers queued down a country lane last week for the grand opening of Clarkson’s first pub - The Farmer’s Dog.

Fans of the Grand Tour and ex-Top Gear star came from as far as New Zealand — and one couple waited four hours to ensure they would get their hands on a pint.

Jeremy was joined by the other stars of his Amazon hit show including his partner Lisa Hogan, Kaleb Cooper, Gerald Cooper and Charlie Ireland.

But Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer should avoid the venue — because he is already barred. Jeremy explained: “He hasn’t done much to endear himself to me yet. He’s actually on a board in the hall — he’s banned.”
