Loose Women's Coleen Nolan addresses split admitting 'we thought we'd be together forever'

Coleen Nolan opened up about a former flame during her stint on Loose Women on Monday (August 12).

The panel that included Christine Lampard, Dame Kelly Holmes, Brenda Edwards and Coleen were busy chatting about if they'd tell a partner if there was something about them they didn't like, when talk turned to tattoos and romance.

At which point, the Nolans hitmaker chimed in, confessing that one of her exes had her name tattooed on his arm when they were together. While she didn't reveal which past boyfriend or husband had been responsible for confessing his undying love for her via artwork on his body, she was in good spirits about the inkwork.

"We thought we'd be together forever, but we weren't," confessed Coleen to host Christine as she spoke about the tattoo. "And now his girlfriend has to look at my name on his arm," she giggled. It's unknown if the tattoo still exists today and who it belongs to as the songstress kept her cards close to her chest.

The topic had been fuelled by Busted singer Matt Willis who opted to tattoo his famous wife Emma Willis across his entire calf muscle - with the artwork very much dividing the panel.

Outspoken Coleen admitted it was not for her although she did admire some of the inking, commenting that the former Big Brother host looked nice but went on to say she was not a fan of the dark outline.

Coleen explained she had nothing against tattoos but for her it was a big "no" when it came down to have inkings of anyone or names placed anywhere on her body.

The chart topper spilled: "I've got a couple of tattoos but I wouldn't ever have a name of someone or a picture of someone I feel like it's branding, especially with my track record." Coleen joked: "Do you know what I mean and once they're there you can't get rid can you?"

Dishing the dirt on a past romance, Coleen then went on to confess: "There was someone once who had a heart and put my name in it and he was like 'right you can have one now and I was like 'nope'. And we were like 'we're going to be together forever' and then we weren't and then his next girlfriend saw my name."

Interjecting, a disagreeing Christine commented: "It's a real sign of commitment, a real sign of love."

Standing firm on her position, Coleen definitely shot back: "No take me for a weekend away or a meal."
