The Mallorca Files Season 3: Official trailer
After three years, The Mallorca Files finally returns to our screens with a new batch of cases to investigate. The series has a new home on Prime Video with British detective Miranda Blake and her German partner Max Winter investigating cases involving arson, kidnap,and murder.
The Mallorca Files centres around Detective Miranda Blake - an introvert who is used to living by the rules - and her German counterpart Max Winter, whose approach to policing is based on gut instinct, with little interest in process. The series also features the stunning Spanish landscape and will leave you wanting to visit the Spanish island on holiday.
Eight episodes will be released at once on Prime Video on Thursday (Wednesday 8) with plenty of new faces appearing over the new season. More international guest stars will be added to the cast this time round, including Enrique Arce (Money Heist), Philippe Brenninkmeyer (Mad Men) and Charlie Higson (The Fast Show).

Elen Rhys as Miranda Blake
Elen Rhys returns as British cop Miranda Blake who is highly intelligent but uptight. Miranda made the decision to stay on the island in the first series and help solve cases in Mallorca.
You may recognise her from her appearances in Hidden, Keeping Faith, Broadchurch, Ordinary Lies, Agatha Raisin and Silent Witness.
Julian Looman as Max Winter
Max Winter is Miranda’s more relaxed partner but also very insightful. Their working relationship has strengthened over the past two seasons, with some fans speculating this could turn into romance. I wonder what Max’s girlfriend Carmen Lorenzo thinks about that.
The Austrian actor’s first English speaking role was for The Mallorca Files after years in German TV, but he has also starred in Constellation, Emily in Paris, Nightlife and Prey.
Maria Fernández-Ache as Inés Villegas
Palma police chief Inés Villegas is the glamorous but no-nonsense chief of police in Palma. She oversees Miranda and Max's investigations, demands results and plays referee during their culture clashes.
Spanish actress Maria Fernández-Ache has appeared on both Spanish and English television including BBC series Holby City, the film Lost in Karastan and Viento Sur.
Tábata Cerezo as Carmen Lorenzo
Max's Spanish girlfriend works as a waitress in a local bar and often listens in on Miranda and Max’s investigations. Tábata Cerezo previously starred in The Night Manager, Finding Altmaria and Terminator: Dark Fate.
Alex Hafner as Roberto Herrero
Roberto Herrero is an unusual forensic scientist who assists Max and Miranda with their investigations in series two of the show. He will be back for the third instalment and play a helpful role in the show.
The Austrian-born Italian-Spanish actor is known for his other television credits include Let It Snow, Submergence, and Parot.

Charlie Higson
The actor and comedian starred in the comedy sketch show The Fast Show as well as more dramatic roles in Jekyll and Hyde, Broadchurch and Marple.
Michael Jibson
Michael Jibson is a poular actor on TV and on stage and was the winner of the 2018 Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Musical, for his role of King George III in Hamilton. He has starred in some of television's most popular series including playing the role of Steve Hewlett in The Crown, Matthew Evansford in The Essex Serpent, Stuart Reeves in Honour, and Tecwen Whittlick in Quiz.
He's also appeared in Doctor Who, Father Brown, DCI Banks and Casualty. On the big screen, Jipson portrayed Lieutenant Hutton in 1917, Kylo's Shuttle Pilot in Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi.

Best known for Memento Mori, the Spanish television and film actor is venturing into an English-speaking role.
