Laura Tobin sparked fury with her weather report during the latest instalment of Good Morning Britain. Wednesday's edition (August 7) of the ITV show saw the meteorologist travel to Kent to share the latest forecast updates with viewers.

The 42-year-old was at Chapel Down Vineyard as she revealed the UK can expect sunny climates over the next few days. While the north will likely be hit by showers, Laura delivered news that the rest of the country will be dry, pleasant and warm for the majority of the day.

The report didn't sit well with several viewers as they took to social media to share the same complaints. One wrote: "Surely to God the producers can see giving Laura an outside broadcast isn’t a good idea and if they think it is, stop her pontificating about climate change. The two don’t go hand in hand."

Another said: "Laura Dora the climate change explorer The woman who likes to talk about everyone lowering emissions is out and about in another completely unnecessary attention seeking jolly."

A third fumed: "Laura on #GMB has got to be THE most irresponsible weather forecaster across all of the channels; 'Oh, I'm so concerned about global warming, here's my global warming countdown alarm clock, but please excuse me as I beam with excitement because above average temperatures are coming!!' #GlobalWarming."

However, others reacted more positively to the report, with one writing: "Looks like another brilliant day thanks @Lauratobin1 xx."

"Pretty in pink," another penned as they complimented the mum-of-one's outfit. It comes after GMB viewers issued a two-word demand as Kate Garraway's Southport riot report sparked fury.

The 57-year-old presented with Ed Balls, with the duo once again discussing the riots happening across the UK. The demonstrations have been the top headline on Good Morning Britain since they began over the weekend, with Ed and Kate interviewing a number of guests about the incidents.

Their reporting of the issue led to floods of complaints from fans who claimed they were being biased. One wrote: "Yet again, @edballs twisting facts to fit his narrative. Completely biased reporting. He even smirks as he's talking, knowing full well that he's only reporting half of the facts. Two tier police and two tier GMB."

Another agreed: "The bias from #GMB just makes things worse. Violence is not the answer from ALL communities! The guests they have on are inciting more violence imo."

A third declared that GMB should "get rid" of Ed and Kate, adding: "They should get people who can do the job and look at both sides remain impartial on reporting the riots in England."
