Emmerdale fans are convinced Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) is speaking to John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) on a dating app. During Tuesday's episode of the ITV soap (August 6), Aaron appeared to be distracted when Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) confided in him about her new job.
As Victoria explained how Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) had offered her employment at his shop after he purposely got her fired from working at The Hide, Aaron was left distracted.
"I can't afford to be unemployed again", Victoria said as Aaron typed away on his mobile. "Excuse me, my life is falling apart over here but if you have got more interesting things to deal with", she added as Aaron put his phone away.
Later, Aaron and Victoria sat down and were chatting about Eric over a cup of tea when his phone sounded again.
Victoria grabbed the phone to reveal a dating app and commented: "Thought you would've given up on them after what happened last time, you were robbed."

Snapping back, Aaron replied: "Yes I know, but maybe this time I'll be a bit luckier," before adding: "It's quicker than hanging around in a load of bars. Innit?".
He failed to disclose any more information on his new mystery love interest, but viewers think it is John Sugden who is soon to arrive in the village.
John is introduced when Victoria accompanies Eric to a funeral of an old friend when his car breaks down. However, upon their arrival at the church, Victoria inadvertently causes a stir with the grieving son at his mother's funeral.

She is taken aback when she learns his name is John Sugden. Later, Eric awkwardly reveals that John could potentially be her half-brother and the son of her late father, Jack Sugden.
In an unexpected turn of events, Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) receives a call about a nearby breakdown back in the village, and it turns out to be John, who has just arrived.
Speculating about Aaron and John's potential romance, one person wrote on X: "Aaron probably meets John on this app I'm guessing! #emmerdale", while a second stated: "Aaron's going to get with John and then realise he's a Sugden, isn't he? #emmerdale."
