BBC Strictly Come Dancing 2024 full line-up 'leaked' from BBC stars to A-list actress

The final contestants for Strictly Come Dancing have reportedly been confirmed, joining the likes of JB Gill and Chris McCausland in the star-studded line-up. As the competition's launch day approaches, a host of famous faces have been confirmed over the past few days.

So far, official announcements have seen Dr Punam Krishan, Toyah Willcox, Wynne Evans, JB Gill and Chris McCausland set to hit the dance floor.

Olympian Tom Dean also revealed his participation in an interview following his performance at the Games in Paris. It has now been reported a host of famous faces are set to join the line-up.

According to The Sun rumoured participants including Shayne Ward and Pete Wicks are indeed taking part, but there are also some surprising names on the list. Among the unexpected contestants are former Love Island star Tasha Ghouri and Gladiators' Montell Douglas AKA Fire.

Actress Sarah Hadland has also seemingly been confirmed for this latest series, as has BBC presenter Sam Quek.

Meanwhile, other contestants are said to include Tasha who signed up for the show following her successful stint on reality dating show Love Island in 2022.

Her career has soared since appearing on the show, while her love life has flourished too.

She left the villa with partner Andrew Le Page and the pair bought a home together just months later.

Montell's potential participation follows her impressive display of power and strength on the reboot of Gladiators. The 37 year old athlete has previously competed in both the Summer and Winter Olympics, making history as the first female UK athlete to do so, participating in both the 100m sprint and the bobsled.

In other news, Miranda star Sarah Hadland, who starred in James Bond, is rumoured to be trading lines for dance moves, with whispers suggesting she will be among the next group of contestants officially announced for the dance competition.

Meanwhile, other show stars include EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick, who plays Jay Brown in the BBC soap. The on-screen previously took part in the Christmas special alongside Nancy Xu.

TV insiders told the publication:v“Although an EastEnders actor is on Strictly every year, this is the first time a performer on the festive special has gone directly into the competition.

“Producers and viewers were blown away by Jamie’s dancing."

DIY SOS presenter Nick Knowles is also said to be taking part after months of talks.

Nick put a clip of his footwork on Instagram in March last year — with one fan commenting: “I see Strictly Come Dancing on the horizon.”
