Jasmine Harman height: How tall is the A Place in the Sun star?

Jasmine Harman has recorded more episodes of Channel 4's A Place in the Sun than any other presenter of the show, having spent two decades as one of the hosts. The 48-year-old did not always have her heart set on TV presenting, as she began her career in health and fitness.

The qualified fitness instructor spent a few years living in the Algarve, Portugal, where she worked as a marketing manager for a health resort. There, she hosted her own twice-weekly live magazine show on Algarve's Kiss FM.

After moving into TV, the mother-of-two featured on property and lifestyle shows for This Morning and GMTV. The star, who has been married to Jon Boast since 2009, has also let viewers witness aspects of her personal life.

She made a documentary for the BBC, called My Hoarder Mum and Me, about her mother Vasoulla in order to help her manage her hoarder. This left viewers wanting to find out more about other aspects of her life, including her height.

Jasmine is 5ft 9 inches, admitting on Twitter she was "a midget in [my] family!", although she did say she was "6ft 1 inch in heels!". In Closer she was quoted as saying: "I felt like a giantess compared to my other co-presenters, like Laura Hamilton."

Her co-star Laura stands at 5ft 2 inches tall, making Jasmine one of the tallest presenters on the show, behind Danni Menzies who is roughly 5ft 10 inches.

Jasmine is still passionate about health and wellbeing and takes part in various sports to keep in shape. She enjoys boxercise, salsa and Savante and has been vegan for a number of years.

When she is not travelling for work, she loves taking vacations for herself as an opportunity to relax.

As the eldest of seven children, she also loves spending time with her family, having grown up in Hackney, East London.

The presenter lives with her husband Jon, whom she met whilst filming A Place in the Sun, and their two children Joy and Albion.

Her favourite filming location is the Caribbean, in particular Barbados, and her most memorable A Place in the Sun filming moment was falling into Lake Vinuela when a house hunter accidentally tipped their canoe over.

She is the longest-running presenter alongside the late Jonnie Irwin, who died following his cancer battle in February 2024.

In a touching tribute on Instagram, she wrote at the time of his death: "Jonnie Irwin - I will always remember the first time I heard your name.

"When I was doing a screen test for a new show, they said 'We definitely want Jonnie, but we need to find another presenter'.

"I wondered who this mysterious Jonnie was. We met in Cape Town, filming the pilot. You were so charismatic and energetic, so confident and fun. I understood immediately why they had to have you."
