The 1% Club: Lee Mack poses the 30% question

Lee Mack was left stunned on The 1% Club when a contestant confessed to having already won millions in the lottery. In a repeat of the popular ITV quiz show aired on Saturday night (August 3), hopeful Kevin Jones revealed his previous lottery windfall.

Kevin didn't make it past the 90% question, but during a chat with Lee, he divulged his past good fortune. When asked by Lee if he was usually unlucky, Kevin replied, "I've been very lucky in the past," leading Lee to inquire, "In what respect?"

"I've won the lottery," Kevin admitted, shocking everyone as he outlined his £6 million win. "£6.1 million to be precise," he added, eliciting cheers from the audience and fellow contestants.

But Lee was visibly shocked, humorously scolding the millionaire: "£6 million quid? ! And you want another £100 grand? You greedy sod!"

The contestant expressed disappointment with his performance, stating: "I wanted to come on here for the challenge but sadly not done very well," reports the Mirror.

The 1% Club has become a favourite among viewers due to its brain teasers. Hosted by the sharp-witted comedian, the show invites 100 diverse contestants to compete for a substantial cash prize that could reach up to £100,000.

The game stands out from your typical quiz show; it's less about encyclopedic knowledge and more about applying common sense and logic. However, don't be deceived into thinking it's straightforward - securing the grand prize means solving a question that only 1% of Brits could answer correctly.
