Netflix fans are heaping praise on a psychological thriller series that boasts a flawless 100 percent Rotten Tomatoes score, recently added to the streaming giant's roster. Some have even hailed it as the 'best series ever'.

The buzz began in the Facebook group Netflix Bangers after a member sought recommendations, as reported by the Mirror. The series in question, Fauda, which premiered in 2015, chronicles the intense exploits of an Israeli soldier who embarks on an undercover mission to capture a terrorist he believed he'd already killed.

Viewers have lauded its gripping narrative and production values. One viewer insisted: "You won't stop watching till the end," while others branded it a "brilliant series" that the original poster should "100% watch".

The cast includes Lior Raz, Doron Ben-David, Boaz Konforty, Laetitia Eido, and Tomer Capone among others.

Shot in Kafr Qasim, the series draws from the real-life experiences of creators Raz and Issacharoff during their service in the Israel Defense Forces. Fauda, offering dialogue in both Hebrew and Arabic, is globally accessible on Netflix.

The official synopsis for the show reads: "After retiring from the Israel Defense Force, Doron is working on a vineyard. He gets roped back into active duty, though, upon learning that an enemy who Doron thought his unit had killed is still alive and plans on attending his brother's wedding.

"Doron rejoins the IDF team with the intention of going under cover at the wedding, but the plan goes awry when the team's cover is blown. That sets into motion a chaotic chain of events and leads IDF into a manhunt to locate and kill the squad's target."

The show received a perfect Rotten Tomatoes score from critics. The Decider's Jonathan Beecher Field said Fauda "shares The Wire's empathy for characters on both sides of a violent conflict" while Globe and Mail's John Doyle wrote: "It's a doozy of a political action thriller, a grabber from the get-go, and wildly compelling."
