Carol Kirkwood reveals how she likes her fish and chips
BBC Breakfast took a hilarious turn during the latest episode after news anchor Naga Munchetty made a rather risky comment about her colleague Carol Kirkwood's choice of attire.
For Thursday's programme, Naga and Charlie Stayt were back on the famous red sofa to deliver the latest news headlines. But when handing over the reins to Carol for the latest weather report across the country, Naga made a comment about her dress.
Brightening up viewers' mornings, Carol wore a light pink dress. The floral number included a black flower pattern which added to the appealing style.
Getting distracted by her dress, newsreader Naga said: "It's time to talk to Carol to find out what's going on with the weather. Carol you look like you're ready to go frolicking in a field!" Hitting back, Carol said: "That would be nice, Naga!"
She then continued business as usual with her report, stating that "this morning is a cloudy start to the day if you haven't been out".
Despite Carol laughing off, Naga's jibe, this wasn't her only risky comment during the Thursday show. While discussing the weather with Carol, she mentioned that her job is rather "boring".
Naga cheekily quipped: "Carol, I know you love your job and all aspects of the weather, even when it's boring."
Carol interrupted: "Boring?" Naga continued: "You know what I mean, when nothing is like happening but I suppose the point is it's good when it's boring because we've seen so many extreme weather events in the UK but even though it might be exciting at the time it can be concerning."

Defending her role while agreeing with Naga's frank statement, Carol said: "Climate change is real Naga and we know that and more extreme weather leads to more extreme influences as a result. It affects so many different aspects of out lives. What is a normal summer these days? What is summer anymore?"
Over the years, fans have been baffled by Carol and Naga's relationship as they often notice the frostiness between the pair on screen. But Carol has insisted that she is friends with Naga and that the exchanges viewers see on screen is just "banter".
The 62-year-old previously told The Sun: "I love Naga and we just have banter. I love the camaraderie between us and everyone. It’s a good, fun job."
