Clarkson's Farm returns in season three trailer from Prime Video

Jeremy Clarkson, 64, and Lisa Hogan have become attached to their cattle at Diddly Squat Farm which they have been running for several years.

Located in Oxfordshire, Chipping Norton, Prime Video viewers have been following Jeremy's farming journey since the first series of Clarkson's Farm hit screens in 2021. Viewers soon became familiar with the former Top Gear host's co-stars such as fan-favourite Kaleb Cooper and Gerald Cooper.

Season three, which officially launches on May 3, finds Diddly Squat facing some serious challenges involving pigs, inflation and severe weather issues.

During the opening episode of season three, Jeremy addresses his on-site restaurant's closure, explaining: "With the restaurant shutting, we could no longer afford to keep all the cows. We could hang onto the calves to fatten them up, but their mums would have to go."

Watching more than a dozen of his beloved cows step onto lorries and leave Diddly Squat Farm was extremely difficult for Jeremy who told colleague Charlie Ireland: "I'm finding today really quite sad because for the last year or so I have opened the windows and there were cows - and I loved that.

"It just cheers up my heart every morning to see them," Jeremy reflected as he was told he would not be able to sleep that evening as the calves would be upset by the separation.

Jeremy asked if his beloved cow Pepper was going to be taken away, to which Charlie sensitively replied: "I wouldn't ask too many questions about Pepper. Don't ask questions you don't want to know the answer to."

Sweet home videos filmed by Lisa of the calves and cows wreaking havoc in their garden were then aired before a heartbreaking clip of Jeremy putting his arm around Lisa was shown as they watched the cows get taken away.

Jeremy looked crestfallen and as though he was holding back tears during the heartbreaking moment as he and Lisa both fell silent.

He turned away from the camera and wiped his eyes at one point, clearly upset by the difficult farewell after growing attached to the cows.

Lisa and Jeremy walked away hand in hand as they reminded themselves of the cows they had reared on Diddly Squat Farm.

While part of the episode focused on tough farewells, the rest centred around making jam which proved to be a bit of a challenge for Jeremy who struggled with the mathematical side of the process.

However, Jeremy's Juice, as the product was branded, was soon ready to go on the market. He was keen to sell the jars for £3.60 after working out the production costs.

Amazon Fresh now stocks Diddly Squat Farm Shop products online and in store, they include jams, chutneys, rapeseed oils, seasonings, juices, alcohol and merchandise.

Lisa shared: “We are thrilled to bring a range full of Diddly Squat farm personality to Amazon Fresh customers - and I think people will love what they find. Anything you order really will bring a little bit of the Cotswolds to your home. My favourites, including a great range of rapeseed oils, our hand-cut crisps and of course bee juice honey, really will bring a smile to your face.”

Season three of Clarkson's Farm lands on Prime Video on May 3.
