Jules Hudson shares peek behind the scenes

Escape to the Country’s Jules Hudson has shared exclusive behind-the-scenes access after teasing the brand new series of the popular BBC property show. Jules, 54, showed fans a glimpse of what is set to come after heading to Scotland.

Taking to social media, the presenter introduced two guests who he had been filming with in the Scottish countryside. In an Instagram post, he shared with his 61,000 followers what he had got up to.

Standing alongside Michael and Marian he was heard saying: “Well folks we are finishing our first day of house hunting, how are we doing guys?” Marian appeared overwhelmed by the number of luxurious choices Jules had shown them.

She said: “We are doing well, slightly emotionally drained.” While her partner chimed in adding: “We have been bombarded with so much choice and options. Crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy things.”

Jules went on to quiz them if they had enjoyed the experience and if would they recommend it. The pair hailed the television host and credited him for how accommodating he had been.

“100 percent if you are looking for somewhere in the country then these are the guys to come and look with,” said Marian.

While Michael added: “It’s just been phenomenal and opened our eyes to so many opportunities.”

However, fans will have to wait some time for the new season after Sonali Shah last month announced that the production company decided to delay filming.

Sonali, 43, appeared on Morning Live and detailed that viewers will have to wait “months” after it goes into production.

She explained there was a decision to delay filming due to weather conditions, and producers wanting it to be a lot lighter.

While chatting to hosts Rav Wilding and Michelle Ackerley, she said: “We have stuff going on for the new series today.

“We are going to start filming in March or April. We need more daylight out, so we are going to start filming in a couple of months”, she continued.

The host went on to admit that she could not believe she only visited stunning places like Cornwall once during the latest season.

Often people opt to move there to enjoy the slower pace of life and, due to their popularity, homes in the area now come with a hefty price tag.
