BBC star drops Strictly 2024 line-up hint and shares off-camera Claudia confession

Strictly Come Dancing fans will soon be announcing its celebrity line-up for 2024 as the show prepares to return for another series. Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly will be back on screens as they welcome the stars battling it out for the Glitterball trophy.

Whilst there is speculation about who is going to be competing, with stars such as Kelly Holmes, Hannah Waddingham and Roman Kemp being named as potential contestants.

But one star has chucked her name into the ring, as The Traitors star Jasmine hopes to be considered for the line-up, and also said she would be keen to appear on Gladiators.

Speaking to Express.co.uk, Jasmine said: "Yes I would love to compete on Strictly, duh! I think shows like that would be so fun... But Gladiators, sign me up! I would wipe all those Gladiators through the floor, I really want to go on it.

Jasmine also opened up on her friendship with Strictly host Claudia, who also presents The Traitors on BBC, as she gushed about how "supportive" the star is.

She said: "On TV, she has to play this character but you see glimpses of her cheering people on, and that is her, she is so nice on TV and ten million times nicer in person, she is so supportive, she cares so much. I'm so happy to have met her."

Jasmine also shared that whilst Claudia had to be serious while hosting the "murder mystery" show, she also made sure to speak to the contestants, and even opened up about her family life with her off-camera.

She said: "There was a moment in filming when we were doing a challenge with Andrew, and we were waiting and she came up to us and we had a good conversation about her kids and our life afterwards while the cameras were setting up.

"Every time I see her now, she says I remember that conversation, it was so lovely... I love Claudia."

Strictly returns later this year on BBC1.
