22 Kids and Counting's Noel and Sue Radford squat for cameras as filming begins

The Radford family have hit the great outdoors to work up a sweat while filming new episodes for their reality show 22 Kids and Counting. The 'UK’s largest family' are continuing with their Channel 5 series that documents their very busy day-to-day lives as a family of 24.

The pair, who now live in a former care home such as the size of their brood, rose to fame following their first documentary show, which aired on Channel 4 in 2012.

Parents Sue and Noel Radford now also have grandchildren as some of their kids have their own families making the Radfords even bigger family. But it seems the married couple enjoy getting outside and adding extra exercise into their busy lives.

Noel, 53, and Sue, 48, were seen getting sweaty in a number of routines that will feature on their programme later this year.

They were performing lunges, jogging around, and doing squats in the miserable Morecambe weather while encouraging each other to pick up the pace as cameras captured their every move.

Following their workouts, Noel and Sue were seen in further shots alongside two members of their film crew looking back at the footage.

Once filming was complete, the pair wrapped up warm in puffer jackets.

The filming for their new series 22 Kids and Counting comes after Sue and Noel opened up about their lives as "Britain's biggest family" in their new book, The Radfords: Making Life Count.

Sue hinted that their family might get even bigger as she revealed their love for having kids.

The couple wrote: "We haven't just been addicted to love during our long and happy marriage - for most of it, we have also been addicted to having children.

"As addictions go, we think it was a pretty healthy one because it was motivated by nothing other than love - love for each other, and the love of having children."

They continued: "We are Britain's biggest family, and proud of it. This wasn't the plan, however. Indeed, looking at the size of our brood, you might think there was absolutely no family planning involved whatsoever!"

When the couple touched on the possibility of having baby number 23, Sue said: "No, I don't think so though we have said similar things before! But no, that's it now", as reported by the Daily Star.

Noel admitted: "We've said similar things plenty of times before! But seriously, Heidie is three now, so yes... we're enjoying our sleep at last! And we no longer have to worry about kids being at that age when they pick things up off the floor and stick them in their mouths."

The air date for the new series of 22 Kids and Counting is yet to be confirmed
