Yellowstone’s Rip Wheeler star Cole Hauser revealed he once got into a fistfight with the show’s creator Taylor Sheridan.

In a resurfaced interview, the Men’s Journal interview returned to the forefront after Sheridan’s legal issues were recently unveiled.

Earlier this month, the showrunner filed a lawsuit against Free Rein, the coffee company owned by Hauser for “unfair competition and false advertising.”

According to San Angelo Live, his business Bosque Ranch also has a coffee range, and made claims that Free Reign uses “a brand mark strikingly similar to Bosque Ranch's registered trademark, potentially misleading consumers.”

The Bosque Ranch logo intertwines the letters B and R similar to a cattle brand, similar to Free Rein which also infuses the letters F and R.

However, it seems this wasn’t the start of their issues, as Hauser revealed the pair got into a fist fight the second time they met.

The actor admitted it was one of many brawls he’s had and told the publication: “Does a bear s**t in the woods?

“I’ve probably been in one on every continent, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with fighting.”

Hauser explained: "Sometimes I’m just tired of words, so let’s beat the s**t out of each other.

"Maybe at the end of it you’ll buy me a Guinness and I’ll buy you a Bushmills, and we’ll be done. It’s kind of what guys do."

As for the recent lawsuit, Bosque claims Free Rein did so without their authorization.

Sheridan’s business launched its Craft Coffee brand in June, while Hauser turned the brand Longhorn Coffee, based in San Angelo, Texas, into Free Rein in August.

According to the Free Reign website, the actor crafted a brand that “embodied the spirit of the West ... the dreamer’s mindset and callused hands of those cowboys [Hauser] admired.”
