I'm A Celeb: Nigel Farage struggles with trial
Loose Women star Linda Robson has given her verdict on how she thinks Nigel Farage is coming across during his stint in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!. The former MP has made it to the final five after 20 days in the Australian jungle despite receiving plenty of backlash.
Many fans have questioned how Nigel has made it this long in the series and asked on a number of occasions who is voting to keep him in. The same happened last year when Matt Hancock also entered the jungle as a way of redemption for how he acted during the coronavirus lockdown.
Linda Robson recently spoke to altindex.com about her surprise to see him still in there and insisted that he can't win the show. She explained: "Nigel was a guest once on Loose Women and I asked him why he thought he was the most hated man in Britain! It made the front pages.
"He’s obviously earned a fortune for going into the jungle. He won’t have to worry about money for a while, he’s going to come out of the jungle a lot richer!
“He’s done everything he’s been asked to do in there, he’s done the trials he’s had to do, and been quite brave as well.
"He does moan about the cleanliness in there, but then I would have been exactly the same as there are lots of rats around, so if you leave food out you’re going to get rats coming in.
“He’s done alright but he’s definitely not one of my favourites and I don’t want to see him win. He’s lasted longer than I thought he would, I thought he’d be one of the first out.
"I thought the public would want to vote him out but obviously they haven’t. But I don’t think he can win it, definitely not!”
Viewers of the ITV show were left furious last night as Nigel once again dodged the public vote and saw Danielle Harold booted from the show.

Taking to their X account, formerly known as Twitter, one user slammed: "Okay seriously. WHY ARE YOU ALL VOTING TO KEEP NIGEL IN?! #ImACeleb."
@ydgt added: "The closer the final gets the more scared I am that Nigel will be there #ImACeleb."
@maria commented: "Danielle is such a wonderful, kind, sweet woman and everyone who voted to keep Nigel in over someone like her should be deeply ashamed of themselves."
@holly penned: "How has Danielle gone before Nigel?! I thought the public were rioting over the fact he was on the show before it started." (sic)
However, there were some who shared their delight that Nigel has remained in the jungle, as @mags said: "Really want Sam to win because he’s so adorable.
"But, must admit, it would be the funniest thing if Nigel won. I can’t even imagine the absolute meltdown that would cause."
@mum quipped: "I always find it amusing when it's a public vote but those who don't get the result they want shout, 'it's a fix.' That's happening quite a lot as ole Nig is still in there." (sic)
