GMB: Quentin Letts shares views on Rwanda court ruling
Good Morning Britain welcomed Quentin Letts for a debate over the Supreme Court's decision to halt the government's proposed Rwanda plans for asylum seekers.
Fans weren't pleased to see Quentin on the ITV show though as he slammed the decision after courts found the plans unlawful.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, several expressed their criticisms of the guest.
@JeremyPaine2020 asked: "Has anyone yet worked out what the purpose of Quentin Letts is? He turns up regularly on @GMB and talks absolute gibberish. #gmb." (sic)
@KevinAn48751902 wrote: "The abysmal Quentin Letts doing his damndest on #gmb to portray the Supreme Court justices as “enemies of the people.”" (sic)
@ArchieBurrows34 commented: "Quentin Letts is just awful. Ignorant, pompous and heartless. #gmb."
"Someone should possibly explain how this works to Quentin Letts before he makes himself look stupid trying to pass himself as an expert #gmb," @completechimp suggested.
@V_hardsteppa fumed: "@GMB Quentin Letts, what an odious human being! Why why WHY have him on?!"
Some agreed with Quentin though, with @populostone sharing: "The issue is not Rwanda it remains illegal crossings that put lives in danger."

The responses came as Quentin questioned the Supreme Court over their recent decision.
"The consequence of yesterday is going to be more deaths in the Channel," he argued.
"It was the European Court of Human Rights and the European judges who stopped flights originally and that was the thing that stopped it-"
"But the British courts agreed with them," host Kate Garraway pointed out.
"They did, because of the small print of the Human Rights legislation," Quentin replied.
"And I think viewers will think, 'What is the point of our parliament? What is the point of our voting in general elections if the judges stop the policies that our government wants?'"
The government has stated new legislation would be used to ensure the Rwanda plan goes ahead after the Supreme Court found the policy unlawful.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV.
