Lady Gaga performed at a Kamala Harris pre-election rally in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania last night (November 4) “ you can watch the footage below.
The singer-songwriter, who released her new single ‘Disease’ last month, delivered a rendition of ‘God Bless America’ along with an airing of the ‘Born This Way’ song ‘The Edge Of Glory’.
In a brief onstage speech, Gaga said: “For more than half of this country’s life, women didn’t have a voice. Yet we raised children, we held our families together, [and] we supported men as they made the decisions.
“But tomorrow, women will be a part of making this decision.”
She continued: “Today, I m holding in my heart all the tough, tenacious women who made me who I am.
“I cast my vote for someone who will be a president for all Americans. Tomorrow, let s make sure all your voices are heard.”

Ahead of today’s US presidential election (November 5), Gaga publicly endorsed the Harris-Walz campaign on social media. “It’s time to get ready to vote,” she said in a short video. “I’ll see you guys in Pennsylvania.”
In response, the current Vice President and Democratic nominee Harris wrote: “When we vote, we win! Thank you for fighting for a brighter future for all.”
Oprah Winfrey also appeared at the rally, which was held on the steps of the Philadelphia Art Museum. Another campaign event for Harris simultaneously took place in Pittsburgh, with Katy Perry headlining.
Elsewhere, Michael Stipe and Jon Bon Jovi performed R.E.M. s ˜The One I Love at Harris’ rally in Georgia.
Other acts to have expressed their support for the VP include Madonna, Bruce Springsteen, Billie Eilish, St. Vincent, Cardi B, Mumford & Sons and Evanescence s Amy Lee.
In other news, Harris made a surprise guest appearance on Saturday Night Live last weekend alongside comedian Maya Rudolph.
Gaga sang the US national anthem during Joe Biden s inauguration in 2021. Reflecting on the event, she later explained: “It was the honour of my lifetime.”
Last month saw Lady Gaga express her insane joy over her fans reaction to ‘Disease’. She also promised that there was a LOT more to come from her soon. Her seventh studio album is expected to arrive in February 2025.
During an interview with Rolling Stone in September, Gaga said she wasn t even ready to talk about [her new album] yet , but promised to share more details on the unhinged LP soon. However, she did reveal: The pop album is nothing like [2020 s] ˜Chromatica . It s a completely different record [ ¦] What I would say is, it s all for me.
Gaga continued: It s meant to be ingested as a time in my life. And I m also really excited about this idea that I don t have to adhere to an era if I don t want to. I can have a few going at once. That feels unhinged [laughs] ¦
The artist recently released ˜Harlequin “ a companion album to her new film Joker: Folie à Deux. Over the summer, Gaga shared the standalone collaborative single ˜Die With A Smile with Bruno Mars.
NME gave the new Joker sequel four stars, saying that Gaga shines in a provocative prison musical in her role as Harleen Lee Quinzel.
