JOURNAL STANDARD is stamping its design eye on some new pieces produced in partnership with Pop Trading Company. In a capsule entitled "Black Package," the Japanese JOURNAL STANDARD has applied its signature worn and washed style of wear to Pop Trading Company's typically clean approach to cut-and-sew.
A succinct yet sensical connecting of creative visions, the capsule spans four collaborative garments – a flight Jacket, a hoodie, a pair of worker pants and a six-panel cap – each of which are doused in washed-black.

Leading the pack is the Flight Jacket in Washed Black, which, crafted from heavyweight washed cotton canvas, features tape-rounded front pockets, Thinsulate quilted lining and embroidered Pop logos. The all-black silhouette is interrupted only by its contrasting white tape on the back and white embroidery on the left side, as well as its chunky silver metal YKK zipper. Pairing perfectly with the tailored jacket is the washed black Worker Pants, with similar tonal stitching and embroidery.
The three-panel hoodie reads "Pop" across the middle, with additional branded hits taking the shape of tonal embroidered script logos. Rounding out the release comes the six-panel hat, adorned with a felt "O" applique on the front and an embroidered logo on the back.
