When Playboi Carti says he's gonna do something, fans know to take it with a grain of salt. So when the rapper claimed he was planning on previewing his long-awaited I AM MUSIC at Rolling Loud Miami, we were all a bit wary. However, during his Sunday night set at the tenth anniversary of the Florida festival, the rapper stuck to his promise and previewed three new songs from I AM MUSIC.
The first track, a guitar-heavy one, comes produced by F1LTHY, though the title remains unconfirmed. The second offering, also untitled comes equipped with production from Metro Boomin.
The third and final previewed track sees the Opium rapper reunite with "Timeless" collaborator The Weeknd. Entitled "Drugs Got Me Numb," the song saw a lot of love from festival attendees and commenters alike.
"Every song I'm on is my song," he said during his set. During his performance, he also ran through suspected I AM MUSIC offering "KETAMINE," which he dropped off via Instagram back in March.
Stream the new cuts in the footage below (courtesy of NFR Podcast) and stay tuned to Hypebeast for more updates on I AM MUSIC as they come.
