It’s the start of a jolly holiday season for and his wife, !
“Very merry,” Brittany, 29, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, December 14, sharing photos from the couple’s night out at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Christmas party the evening prior.
Brittany, who is pregnant with the couple’s third baby, looked chic and festive in a red, turtleneck dress. She completed her ensemble with a gold handbag and leopard-print stilettos.
For glam, Brittany wore her hair in a high ponytail fastened at multiple different points, which later caused issues for 29-year-old Patrick.
“Does anyone else’s husband go to take their hair out and think he can just pull these right out of your hair?” she joked in an Instagram Story video shared on Sunday, posting footage of the discarded, clear hair bands intertwined with strands of her locks. “Because, yeah, mine did that last night.”
The Chiefs quarterback, for his part, wore a striped Prada shirt and matching khaki pants from the brand to the festivities. In the photos, he wrapped a hand around Brittany’s waist and smiled.
The Chiefs held their annual holiday gathering in Kansas City on Friday, December 13. The next day, the team traveled to Cleveland, Ohio ahead of the Sunday, December 15, football game against the Browns. The Missouri-based team will next take on the Houston Texans on December 21 and the Pittsburgh Steelers on December 25, respectively.
Ahead of the “short weeks,” Patrick opened up about his training routine.
“I think Coach [Andy] Reid has a great plan going into it, so I’ll follow that and focus on this opponent,” Patrick said during a press conference earlier this week. “Then, as we go into another short week, and then, the one after that, I’ll focus on those opponents.”
Patrick further noted that he was feeling “excited to play on Christmas” later this month.
“But, you never want to play this amount of games in this short amount of time,” he added. “It’s just not great for your body, but at the end of the day, it’s your job. You have to come to work and do it.”
Throughout Patrick’s NFL season, Brittany and the couple’s kids have been fixtures on the sidelines. (They share daughter Sterling, 3, and son Bronze, 20 months.)
“He doesn’t get nervous or stressed at all. That’s just what he likes to do,” Brittany previously said of game days during an August appearance on the “WHOOP” podcast. “I think he loves going into a new week having new game plans, having new challenges, having new people that he’s playing.”
