Lotus Unveils Limited F1-Inspired Emira Series

Lotus has launched a new and exciting limited edition Emira series, a homage to its Formula One legacy. Based on the acclaimed four-cylinder Emira, this exclusive collection features five bespoke liveries inspired by iconic Lotus race cars. Each design is limited to just 12 units, symbolizing Ayrton Senna’s race number during his Lotus career.

The "Emira Limited" introduces a new level of customization, previewing the upcoming Chapman Bespoke personalization program, set to debut in 2025. The program will allow customers to tailor their vehicles, blending heritage with individuality.

Kkey moments that reflect Lotus’s racing history include:

  • The vibrant yellow-and-blue Type 99T celebrates Senna’s 1987 Monaco Grand Prix victory.
  • The shadow grey-and-gold Type 97T recalls Senna’s first Grand Prix win in 1985.
  • The blue Type 86 pays tribute to Lotus’s groundbreaking twin-chassis design of 1980.
  • The shadow grey-and-gold Type 78 honors Mario Andretti’s 1977 success.
  • The dark green Type 25 reflects Jim Clark’s 1963 championship-winning car.

Each Emira Limited features exclusive badges, custom paint directly applied at the Hethel factory and a certificate of authenticity. Under the hood, the 2L AMG turbocharged engine delivers 360 hp, providing the car with a 0 to 62 mph time of 4.5 seconds.

At the time of writing, the Emira Limited vehicles are available across 12 European countries, with pricing starting at €98,107 EUR or roughly $103,000 USD.
