Hamilton is back with two new iterations of the PSR digital watch, a modern reimagining of its Pulsar Cushion model from the ‘70s.
Faithful to the Pulsar Cushion’s retrofuturistic and Space-Age-esque design language, the PSR 74 fully inherits its inspiration’s silhouette and distinct layout. Its hybrid digital display is combined with reflective LCD and OLED, offering a sleek surface with the right amount of color richness and contrasts. The 24-hour time is displayed in red, featuring the very same typeface that was used in the original Pulsar Cushion. As a finishing touch, a retro Hamilton logo adorns the lower right corner of the case.
What sets the new iterations apart from Hamilton’s previous PSR models are the smaller case dimensions, measuring 25.6 mm x 30.9mm. As opposed to the three-link style the preceding models were paired with, the new integrated bracelets come in a bangle-type design for a much more tapered and streamlined look.
The PSR 74 is equipped with a H-40e quartz movement, while also being able to withstand up to 10 ATM of water resistance. The stainless steel version retails for $745 USD, while the yellow gold PVD edition features a price tag of $845 USD, both available to shop now via Hamilton.
